For the next sixty years, however, the trophy cabinet was bare and they remained outside of the top-flight - sinking to Division Three in 1971 - between 1966 and 1993. Not that promotion to the Premiership, via the play-offs, would herald an end to the club's topsy-turvy nature, though. However the JJB stadium is different in that the stands are rectangular (compared to the semi circular at Huddersfield) and both ends have the supporting steel girders suspended from beneath the roof, rather sitting above the stand itself. The four stands are of roughly the same height and there is an electric scoreboard above the Adidas Stand, on one side of the stadium. The stadium is not totally enclosed , all corners being open.
